The Stikini: Until the Last Heart Is Eaten

Book cover of 'The Stikini: Until the Last Heart is Eaten' by Jay Rosmarin-Meyer, featuring a dark forest scene with a creepy creature holding a glowing red heart.

I do not write as some power-mad egotist. The curse placed on Stikini is a driving force, but it does not control me. Yes, my anger can become a vicious whirlwind that sometimes pushes me beyond reasonable thought, but I am, after all, a creature of vengeance and revenge.

My skills have become fine tuned. The details of any shift in form is exact in every way. When I shapeshift into human form all aspects that make up a particular individual are apparent in the mask I wear: voice, facial features, eye shape and color, the slant of an eyebrow, skin color, hairstyle and color, vocal accent, physical affectations from stuttering to excessive blinking, clothing styles to the tying of shoelaces. All this from eating the brains of a victim and the storing of their memories.

Changing to an animal, reptile or fish form is much quicker and easier. A cat, after all, is just a cat.
